So, my wife and I went to look at cars for fun because we were bored. We ended up finding a black 2000 GT with 60k on it. Really clean car, so we ended up trading it in. I will just consider this a mod...lol NPI to PI and better looking. The black leather seats look brand new. I am sure I will find some quirks with the car but that is to be expected but I think the 00' with 60k will be a lot moore reliable than the 97 with 113k and it needed shocks and struts and a clutch and was doing the "one tire fire" so probably needed the rear built. So I think we made a good move. Pictures will come soon. Need to find the SD Card and battery's for the camera. She needs washed first too. I will miss dropping the top. But I think I will be happier with this car. Thanks for all the replies. :SNSign: :D :D :D

EDIT: First mods are going to be:

    Grill Delete
    Chin Spoiler
    Smoked Headlights
    Hood Scoop

Already has a short shifter (I think, feels like it) K&N Drop in

Was owned by a woman so probably not hot rodded AS much as if a guy owned it.

Congrats!!! That was most definately a step in the right direction. Although 94-98 is a beautiful body style, the 2000 GT has much more potential...Looks pretty clean, & the 1st mods u listed are a must!!! Then lower that puppy!!!

I agree, the 94-98 is a curvacious sexy body that w/ few exterior mods is a show stopper, but the 99+ is a growling rubber desintegrator. Lovely ride man, i wish i had black leather instead of tan

Love the interior. I would recommend white face gauges to set it off though.

    Good choice!

$6600 was worth $5500 in perfect condition (trade-in value). So I was happy..

About the aluminum crossover intake...what do you mean?

Hey, good deal. You nabbed a Spring Feature GT... 1 year run for the 2000 model year.

Hood scoop, side scoops, polished wheels... lighter colored ones have the hood stripes and bumper letter inserts... not sure if the black ones do.

NICE FIND!!! I wish I had leather, lol.

from the front of the picture it doesnt look like it has the aluminum crossover on the front of the intake where the 2 coolant sensors plug into (one either side)

and nice car, i wanted one like that but couldnt afford it so i went for mine (in sig)

    congrats dude:nice:

I thinks we need to see pic of old car for comparison;). Agree with 1992, that the new one is a good looking stang either way!

And a very skinny woman......the leather hasnt started to get wrinkles yet...
At only 25k mine look twice as bad. And if you didnt know, the non aluminum
crossover intakes will definatly crack and start leaking coolant at some point.
