do you know if those are the stage one headders or stage 2 i need to get a new hot side for my car and pony downs prices are good.and is your turbo an on center or tangental?and what do you think quailty wise?sorry for the questions.just cant wait to get my car back on the road w/out building a new hot side again
I have the stage 2 headers. Pony down is A++++++. My headers didn't fit on one side and he fixed them at no cost. He "Jeff" gets back to e mail and phone calls same day!
Got all this in lastnight, everything fits great now!!! I'm putting the batt. in the back and 255lph pump in today. And if I fill gutsy, tappin' the pan.
ok as of 1 this morning its DONE!!!! my god there alot of stuff you don't think of. I made like 10 tips to the auto parts store. I didn't start though, I think we fluded it when I was priming everything cuz It pop a couple times then that was it. Crank at it for about a half hour trying to dry up the plugs and taking them out a couple times, but Just got to tired. I'll hit at it again tomorrow.
IT runs!!!!!!! but it pig rich at start up a fouls the plugs as soon as the keys turned. it does run just not normal start up. It blew off the charge pipes twice so I'm buying T-clamps right now. I saw 11psi once right as the tube blew off!!!! MY GOD is all I got to say, I need a dry day. Nothing but wheel spin. The BOV is freakin SWEET too! Not to say the open wastegate it awesome sounding too!
just wait as soon as you have a nice cool day hop on the freeway and let her rip i third. what size t bolt clamps you need?if you live in the bellevue area i have a bunch of 3" ones
How much was that kit? I think you'll find it running rich at idle without a chip or a tune with those 42's. Read the new MMFF, they made 480-490 with 200,000 mile long block and 10psi turbo. Over 500 with 14psi.
