Oh, sorry man i didn't mean to hijack your thread like that....it kinda snowballed :D Point is, turbo is the $hit and it's really unbeatable if you have the craftsmanship to get a kit together for cheap.

uuuuhhhhh, joezy, is only one side of the motor feeding the turbo? Does anybody think that will make it run real weird? It looks like only one header goes feeds the turbo.

I don't mean to hijack the thread as well, but since you're on the subject of home built turbos, I figured I'd show this twin turbo notch from around me. I don't know him personally, but I've seen it around at car shows and burnout competitions, he is teh win when it comes to burnouts.
1993 Mustang lx Noth Back, Red
Turbos are Garrett T04B's from John Deere 410B backhoe/loader
    Tial 38mm gates
    Greddy Type-S BOV
97 explorer shortblock, totally stock and original
95 mustang gt E7 heads, ported by Chev's engines
30# injectors, no chip, no tune
Comp 276HR cam w/1.72 rockers and beehive springs
Otherwise, just a stock T5, stock rear end, stock struts, stock K member.....
It put 461hp and 505ft-lbs to the wheels, and has run a 10.91@126mph.
    Gotta love that shifter too.

poped a head gasket i think. might (hopefully) just be the lower intkae gasket. do yourself and invest in a turbo blanket and some heat wrap

Haha, who knows, he doesn't clean it off. The car has a little more rubber on it every time I see it. As you can see the trim is ripped off around the rear fenderwells also from when the tires blow. Soon after we took the pics of the car on the burnout box, he did his burnout, up into 4th, foot through the floor on the rev limiter for a good couple minutes. After the tires blew he kept it to the boards until they shredded and the right rear blew out the quarter window. I'm willing to bet he hasn't replaced it yet. The pics are from the Summer Nationals car show in Mass, and the day we were there, he entered all 3 burnout competitions of the day, and I'm assuming he did the same for the other 3 or 4 days of the show, that car takes a serious beating.
