Typhoon intakes

has anyone heard anything good or bad on these intakes, also I'm doing some upgrading to my 94 vert. already changed gears to 3.73 ( what a difference)K/N filter, the heads are early 351 ('68) with 2.02 in, should be around 10.2 - 1., shorty headers, off road h pipe,F 330 cam and roller rockers and waiting to see on intake, just curious on the Typhoon, also with the mods mentioned what mm throttle body should be used along with injector size?

alot of people talk down on the typhoon, but dont worry about it, its a great intake, i would go with a 70mm, and 24lb injector

The problem with that intake is...
1) it's a copy of the e-brock prm intake with it a bit much for a mostly stock motor.
2) The quality is poor in design some of the ports are not of the same size. Not good for performance or anything else.

If you can get one cheap, they're good with a little cleanup work on them. However you are pry better off with one of the Ford Racing intakes or a Trick Flow Street Heat.

They were known for having the wrong size water neck on the lower intake. I've seen 3 of them like this. Thermostat doesn't fit it without some grinding/machining
