after a month of not being able to get the right wear pattern Because the gears are motive gears which makes it harder then eny thing else So Iam having a driveline shop shim them and just so I dont feel bad Iam having them weld the axle tubes
and all i was missing was one tool the pinion depth gauge but that was like $250
I know how to do the gears though its really easy to do but this set of gears just made me think "MOTIVE GEARS SUC ***"
i went through so many different combinations all between .008-.011 back lash
i tried the pinion shim at:
.034 stock
.032
.050
.036
.038
.040
.020
and then said WTF the wear patterns didnt look right. so
but since i had the axle at a shop i decided to take the stock catback off and clean it up some i'll post pics later, then i fired it up battery was dead so i got a jump and it was the best sound i have ever heard and that with stock catted h pipe and stock headers cant wait till i put my longtubes on wit the offroad h pipe
