Update on the 02 Cam Shaft Postion Sensor Drama

So I replaced the coil packs, even though i had a feeling they wouldn't fix the problem. For those of you who didn't read the last posting, my check engine light is on and the code that i pulled is a "cam shaft position sensor circuit malfunction". I checked the wiring harness and the sensor plug and nothing looks obviously damaged. So now i need help. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Check for AC ripple. Either test yourself using a VOM on AC scale (report/post) or pull the alternator and take to local autoparts store for a bench test. The bench test will check for a bad rectifier.

If still having problem see post #2 with wiring diagram 24-6. Will be necessrary to Ohm out the wiring harness. However, should start by reading voltage on Cam sensor pin 2 (DB/OG). Post the results (key on/engine off).
