Ventrua Cnty meets S.D. Cnty?!?!?!

    Just wanted to see who would be interested in a HUGE GTG. Get peeps from S.D. all the way up to Ventura and maybe Santa Barbara County. No dates yet, just trying to see who would be interested. Maybe even a camping/Lake trip?!?!??!!

    Post your ideas and how many other stangs in your group would be interested.

    I love Ventura County.
    We drove up there this summer, had a great time.
    But maybe something 1/2 way between for everyone.
    As long as it's after the 1st of the year I'm into it.
    I work for Marriott, I could probably set up a group rate. :nice:

    I think its a great idea. Its something That I have wanted to happen at some point. I am a mustang fan, and the more the merrier IMO. I think it would be sweet to have a huge GTG. Take some video and a bunch of pics. The camping might be tough because of everybody's schedules, but then again, who knows. It all sounds great to me :nice:

    I'm pretty much game for whatever. Group rate at a hotel is nice, but would that include a meeting room where we can get hammered? I don't think they would like us going room to room banging around empty beer bottles.

    Everyone would have to behave like grown ups at the Hotel, I do work for them.
    Besides, any "hammering" would likely be done out at a bar or resturaunt. Hotel bar prices are way high.

    My bro lives in Venice. (that's sort of 1/2 way for all?) He could hook us up with the "right" resturaunt, and we have a real nice Marriott right there at Marina Del Rey.
    And there is alway's the Freak show of Venice to entertain.

    Back in my motorcycle days I use to stay at a little hotel right across the street from the Malibu pier and next to the Omelette Parlor restaurant. The hotel was a mom and pop place, but clean and cheap with a great location right on PCH. From there the ride to the back country roads around the Rock Store was quick and fun.
    Probably too far north for us San Diego guys though.

    I'd be up for it once my '04 gets out of the shop with the new paint job. Live north of Santa Barbara, work in Ventura, and would be willing to drive a good distance on a weekend.

    We have some folks up in the S.B. area that GTG and we are talking about a GTG at Longboards. There is a thread about it, check it out.
