Weird electrical problems!

Hey everyone,

So I just recently swapped out my dash, and I now have a couple of odd elecrical problems that I just can't figure out.

- Windshield wipers do not work
- Right turn signal works fine, but on the left turn signal only the front blinker works (tail blinker and green arrow on cluster do not)
- Right tail light and 3rd brake light work when stepping on the brake, but the left tail light does not (both tail lights come on when I turn the lights on though)

Everything else seems to be working fine, just those small issues. Any ideas?

The aluminum contacts on all the connectors oxidize over time, and disconnecting / reconnecting them can result in a poor connection. I suggest you disconnect all electrical connections one at a time then spray electrical contact cleaner on both connectors. After a few minutes (to give the fluid a chance to evaporate) hook them back up again.

I've had weird electrical glitches like that and most of the time it's due to a connector that I just popped open for some reason. I use contact cleaner every time I pull a connector apart now, and I never have any problems.

It sounds weird, but give it a try.

It is definately a ground issue.
