Sweet ride man. I like how you put the hood scoop back on top of the aftermarket cowl hood. Looks awesome.

i say that you might be a better driver...the wing is just for looks unlike the cobra r spoiler which actually provides downforce...the only thing removing the spoiler is good for is possibly increasing aerodynamics and thats all i can think of

The gas cap was from UPR. I just went to the website and didn't see them anymore. You might want to contact them and see if they still have them. They had a few different styles like mine. GT, Running horse, Mach 1, Snake.

Hey, that's what my very first ever time was with the car, mind you all my other cars were automatics.. lol. So when I ended up being faster than my friends first times. I was like. Cool

I don't know how much longer mine is going to be wingless. I am looking at the Roush 4 post wing to work with my bumper

I kinda built my own Cobra R spoiler instead of buying it. Because i didnt want to punch new holes on my trunk. Anyways , all my friends with stangs were making fun of it  :( . My design might be 1/2 to 1 inch higher. But no one can tell the difference between the cobra R spoiler i built and the one you can buy from any part shop. I will take some fotos really soon , within the next 2 days , and i want you guys to jude if it looks good or if it does really suck like my friends say.But i bet you guys have better taste

the original 99 wing was nice considering it was stock. it did not create the drag that the newer square spoilers do. the now the 01 stock wing creates drag when compared to the steeda wing.... and its a true difference to tell the truth when you go wingless or steeda wing. the stock wing is like having an oversized brick on the trunk. after throwning on the steeda wing you can feel the ass end of the car plant with less wind resistance the faster you go.

remember drag and downforce are completly different topics.

Might be a dumb question, but i'm thinking about doing the same thing. How easy would it be to do myself (find/buy the parts and paint) with mediocre technical skills?

VERY easy do you know how to work a wratchet wrench? basically you can get touch up paint from the dealer. and they listed where you can get the other stuff from. the only thing to look out for is when youre unistalling the wing. theres a gasket between the wing and trunk. the problem is that the gasket may adhere to the paint so be very careful when taking it off. the paint around the holes can come off easily.
