What are the best short shifters for 5.0 cars?

I bought a Hurst short throw shifter in '94, when that was about the only shifter on the market for our cars. I've used it every day (including my drive in to work this morning) and I like it. I wonder, sometimes, if the Tri-Ax, Pro 5.0 and the MGW are better. It's hard for me to justify spending the money. I'd love to try them all out before I buy.

There really is no best shifter. It mostly depends on your preferance. Tri-Ax will give you more comfort and durability while not sacrificing performance. Pro 5.0 is more compact, if you like to bang through gears quickly. MGW has had so many great reviews as well. It just depends on what kind of feel you want to have. I don't think you'll be upset with anything you choose. I've got the Pro 5.0 and it's very nice.

This is the best shifter post I have read. And being that this question comes up every week, there are a bunch of posts. They all have a little different set up, but in the end, you still have to shift the car yourself.
