What to expect from cams?

I was curious as to any real world numbers before and after cam installs. I am wondering what kind of a difference you guys have found in the 1/4 mile by swapping cams. I am interested in a stage 1 cam (probably from VT) and it seems that on the top end of the rpm range you can expect to pick up a good 25 rwhp. What would this equate to in tenths of a second traveling down the old 1320'?

I would expect a .3 gain atleast in the 1/4, that is supposing you can hook.

almost half a second. it really does pull harder, the problem is your way over 6300 rpm before u realize it, so make sure u got your limiter set right. (a 7600 rpm mistake i made)
