i'm looking at a used 95 with about 140k on the odo, the car is pretty clean, the only thing is an engine noise when you lay on it,

at highway speeds you barely have to get on it and you hear the "marbly sound"

is sounds to me exactly like the 460 in my ranchero did when we first put it in, it had too much timing, when i backed the timing back down, it was fine

i'm going to take her for a test drive again and wanted to back the timing down to see if that for sure is the problem,

i believe the firing order is counter clockwise if i'm not mistaken,

correct me if i'm wrong, and let me know which way to turn the distributor to back timing off.
