Who would Win???

OK a friend of mine and I were talking the other night about racing. He has a 99 coupe with 3.73, BBK CAI, Salleen Pulley's, Diablo Chip(custom order mail).

I have a 98 vert 4.10's, TFS elbow (free) , PI intake, PI cams, March Underdrive Pulleys, Mac Prochamber, MM full length SFC.

Now I told him it would be a close race but he told me that he would spank me by 5 cars in the 1/4. Just wanting some info on what everyone thinks.

Your the only one w/ exhaust and it's just a midpipe? My money's on my fellow SN95 if you can drive. You get your car tuned afer the cams?

If you were betting it wouldn't matter who won.. they're both "SN95"

Didn't get a tune yet because i am waiting to see how the PI cams and PI intake are before a tune. Also just did the swap and haven't had the pony out of the stable since November (damn Illinios weather.) I'll get the car tuned after i get longtubes because thats the last major mod on my to do list. Hopefully will get them on this summer.

Ya but it's nice to have bragging rights over someone who has always beat you and has that to hang over your head.

Him and His brother have always beat me and they have similiar cars but his brother has longtubes, full off road exhaust and 4.10 over what his brother has minus a chip.

yes, but anything 99+ is commonly referred to as new age SN95 or other. go to sn95forums.com and see how many 99+'s you see

Nice cars!! Unfortunately, your friends are still going to beat you. Get yourself a good set of sticky D/R's and maybe you can pull him enough off the start that he won't be able to chase you down by the end of the 1/4

Yup, I agree, I was just referring to as your car is now, with no LT's or tune.
Those LT's will make a nice hp gain once it's tuned . Just be sure not to spin too much off the line as it's tough to launch with 4.10's and stock tires.

HAHA shoulda said that was an old pic. i have H & R supersports now just no pics with them installed yet. i hate the 4x4 look the engineer who designed mustangs this way needs to be thrown out in the street beat to death and then ran over.

im thinkin with l/t and a tune you can beat him...the only thing hes got over you is pi heads..which is like 10 hp..

The 99 should be more powerful, but that don't mean crap if he can't drive.
