Why I hate coil spring compressors...

this is how i did it on my torino i put a hose clamp on eitherside of each hook on the compressor to keep it from slipping and it was much safer after almost loosing my hand while taking it appart. and the whole disk brakes off of a granada works great even without using them as power disks i love the difference it made

we did have to use a spacer on the compressor but not all compressors are equal

That is similar in style to the OEM Ford tool that they used in the 60s only a little different.
