Will 18's and a 2" drop cause problems?

I ordered the Black FR500 18x9s and I am going to lower my car. I was originaly just going to lower it 1.5" but I can get some Eibachs that lower it 2" brand new for $100 off a friend of mine. I was just wondering if I would run into any problems lowering it that much with the 18's on it.

Lowered 2" and have 18x9 in front and 10's in back. tire size is 265/35 front and 285/35 rear. No problems. wish I would have put at least 275's on the 18X9s. 285s on rear look good but wish I would've went 295-315

it all has to do with the tire. just calculate the diameter. I think I would try to say below 27 if I were you. mine are 27.7 and they rub just a bit when cranked all the way. I am down 1.75.

stock is 25.6 I know 27.7 is too much. I would look for about 26.5. eat up the fender gap and not rub. you can get 18" tire with stock tire diameter these cars just have massive fender gap. right now it looks about right on my car the tire is just a hair too big.

Hope they comes in deep dish by then :D

I was going to wait for the deep dish to come out, but I can't wait anymore. Maybe when they come out I will put the 18x9s on ebay and get the 17x9 and 17x10.5. I will definitely post pics when it's all done. :flag:

i have dropped my car 2" on front using Sportline, and I have 18x9 with 275 on front. Only have small tire rubbing prob @ full left lock. Tire is slightly toutching sway bar
