Will my engine fit?

I have just purchased the DSS Super Modular Block with patriot heads and comp cams.. Will this set up fit under my 2001 GT with the hood scoop?

The size of your intake manifolds will likely be a factor.

Just put the engine in and slowly close the hood. I would use playdough (sp?) or another type of molding clay-like substance to check out how much space you got between the manifold and the hood. Make sure to close you hood slowly.

Now, is it cheaper to get a forged set from them.. like rods, pistons and crank and have someone install it? how much would the stock block hold?
