I am debating getting the top ~4" of the windshield tinted in 13% or 5%. This would reduce glare when drivinginto a sunset, and would help conceal my radar detector from people walking through the parking lot looking for stuff to steal

I ave seen on some cars it looked like crap and other looked fine. This will be going on a black stang, with 20% on the fronts and 13% on the back glass.

    Opinions? pics?

I never really liked it, it looks good on very few cars IMO. If you have a problem with glare wear sun glasses. LOL I just think it looks stupid with a black stip on the top of your windshield.

Man, your car is hot. It''s got a perfect stance!

I agree with the stripe not being all that great looking, but what's it matter if you want to do it? If you like it, go for it. I have people telling me that white racing stripes would look stupid on my car, but I'm probably going to do them anyway!

Just get the whole front windsheild tinted to 50%. It will reduce glare and nobody will be able to tell it's tinted. I'm going to get mine done when I get a new windsheild.
