Yall 96-98s with PI cams, I need help

No problems whatsoever getting those puppies in and even uses the stock valve springs. There are easier ways to install them now that the cam tool is out there, so no need to remove the front engine cover anymore. So yes, make sure you get PI cams that accept the bolt-on cam gears as using the cam tool to remove and install will require them. You can move over your stock cam gears, but will need new (smaller) cam bolts to snug them on. This will save you a lot of time. I got '02 PI cams and they are the bolt-on type.
