And your reasoning for that would be....?i want to wire up a push button and a toggle switch like on a race car to start and stop my 87 f150.
It's a truck, and he didn't say why, he said how, as in " like on a race car".He already gave his reasoning. He wants it to be "like a race car". Give him a break. He's eighteen.

Yeah mine is thinning early I guess. It's amazing how common sense and good judgment come with thinning hair and expanding waistline...
6x9 mb quart, 8" loud speakers for mid range, super tweeters, and now it has competition jvc arsenals 10" all the highs are driven by a 1500w 4 channel class sq, the bass has 1500w mono class d amp. All figures are RMS it can demand 300amps from the two batteries in the trunk at full load. What is that, 6x9's, 8's, 12's, and tweets? I want to take a ride sitting in the middle of that on a cool day with White Zombie's more human than human blasting away

Well its in a convertible so I went for sound quality, the amps are capable of much more than I ask of them... if you have a driver (amp) capacity larger than required and keep the gain turned down you get a sign wave that does not distort. All the speakers share the load, more speakers driven with less power will have less distortion than a few driven by a large load.Ran the OP off. Nice sound set up though. On a scale of 1-huh?, how deaf are you now?
