Question,on the crank no start list on the tests you perform it says to look for 12 volts fuel injectors, if I have “low” voltage there like 11.47 volts is that considered 12 volts. Reason is it says you can have voltage in all the right places but the computer needs to provide ground. So does less then 12 volts mean something is wrong or am I ok?

Personally I think that’s close enough to be considered 12v. The experts may say otherwise.

I’m chasing my tail here. I thought that as well but what do I know. My car is cranking but I’m noticing the lights getting dim like the battery is low. I put voltmeter 11.97 on the battery so I’m trying to find out why I’m getting that low voltage in the coil both sides and the fuel injectors?Im assuming my cars not starting because I don’t have exactly 12 volts where the list says it should.

Try a jump start see what happens.

How are your battery terminals and posts? Are they clean? Have you load tested the battery? What does the voltage drop to when cranking?

New terminals nice and clean. The voltage drops to like 8or 9 volts when cranking. Since I have been doing these tests I’ll drain the battery scince the cars not starting and take it to autozone they charge it and they keep telling me it’s a good battery.Haven’t done a load test, how do I do that one? Thanks guys for the input by the way.

If they are telling you the battery is good they probably tested it for you. If I were you I would go buy a battery charger so you don't have to keep removing the battery and taking it somewhere to charge.

Did you do the crank/no start list in order? You can't skip any steps and start from the beginning even if you know the test will pass.

Yes I swear I have. The only thing I saw that looked bad was the 3 capacitors had green on them but had them changed the other is the is that green red wire because it has green corrosion I’m thinking it’s not letting enough voltage go to the ignition during cranking. I just changed the ignition switch with the new pins. Also I have 130 alternator new with 4 g wire. It’s new too not sure if it works though.
