waste of money just like that fuel cell thingy that you attach to your fuel line, that is supposedly supposed to make the molecules in the gas further apart or mixed better or whatnot.

yeah it actually restricts the airflow because in order for air to pass through the thing it has to slow down and compress itslef o go through the oppenings thus you get the same amountof fuel but less air... makes for fouled spark plugs and gunked up engines

Here is my answer to all of these bs questions. Don't you think the manufacturer has tried these products? Hell if any product could raise the gas mileage by 15% or increase hp by just putting a piece of plastic in your intake piping, the manufacturers would be all over it. they are always trying to meet new EPA regulations with gas mileage. So here is the easy way to find out if it is bs. Does any manufacturer put it on the car from the factory. if the product has been out for more then a year and it still isn't in any car from the factory, it is crap.

:stupid:

This is what I always tell my friends when they ask my opinion on remote starters and the like. If it was a truly good part then the auto manufacturers would be ALL OVER IT like a 2 doller hooker on a horny millionare. lol.

Remote starters are now an option on some GM cars and I think they are a good idea for warming up Automatic tranny cars.

I have to disagree. Todays cars are engineered to run without warmup time. The engineers know that people don't sit there and wait for their cars to warm up. It is no longer a big thing to warm up your car. You are just not supposed to get on it very much until you reach normal temp which only takes like 3 minutes if you're actually moving.
