7-up cruiser

It needs turbines.

Turbines are too much work to clean for a Driver, at least for me :ack:

Money's an issue right now and time ain't, so I think i'm going to strip and repaint my ponies satin black and maybe polish the lips, if I feel daring. This will be my first time restoring a wheel, so if you have any links toss 'em my way!

Ghetto quote:
NikwoaC " Are you going with the original color?

Nice car! It's good to see it brought back to life. I've always loved 7-Up cars."

Thanks! I'm more of a black car guy, but outta nostalgia, going to have the black shot with a Jade pearl. I'm thinking that with emblems removed, and black satin molding trim. The luggage rack is probably going aswell.

It will just be a more sinister looking 7 UP car. I love the interior. It NEVER gets hot even on sunny So-Cal days, so that will stay stock.

Engine is pretty much done, flushed the P/S and changed the oil. I'll throw on shorty's eventually. (If anyone has a decent pair they wanna sell PM me btw).
