    1993SSP- What kink of pistons are you using? Is the T5Z the stock tranny? Yeh.. I don't plan to abuse anything too much. Can't never tell?

    Will the T-5 be adequate or should I look to upgrade this too? There is a new Tremco - TKO (i think that is the name) supposedly good for up to 500 hps available, but don't know if I want to invest that right now. However, if I have to do it I will.     Newer V6 work in 89 lx... past 5.0?

    If I bought a complete v6, around a 99, would it work in my 89 lx 5.0. If so would things like the computer and readiator work? What our other converns I may be missing. I'm sure the exhuast and tranny situation needs reconfigured. No big deal there, but what else? Would a earlier v6 be better...

    That is a good Idea. I have the 302 short block down at the engine builders. He has not gotten back to me on what it will need for rebuild or the cost options on the stokers or 306. So it is not too late for the 351 on this round. Good thought.... thanks

    OH OK... something i didn't really ocnsider.. I did pick up a Street/strip center force clutch. I never thought of it until earlier today, but the tranny could be a weak link here. ouch... ... What about the Puter?? and injectors? I really want to spend conservatively.

I would imagine the 347 makes more power, but are there any other concerns, extra things I will need for the project as opposed to keeping it a 302-306? I'm sure the kit comes with...

    What do the three x's "XXX" on the 302 short block? Is that just a stock clock?? I was hoping I might have something aftermarket, but it is not a 4 bolt main. Any idea?
