American cars/trucks in general are getting too big. A Challenger doesn't look too big when you park it between an Expedition and a Hummer.

Your safest bet is to never drive a high torque, rwd car in the snow - or if the streets are wet and the temperature is 36* or less. It doesn't matter how good you are or how careful you drive, it's way too easy to lose control of the rear end. Another plus about repainting it the factory...

That's all fine and dandy....but why would you just leave off a piece of your suspension when you don't need to? Just because you don't notice wheel hop doesn't mean it's not affecting your car at all.

Definitely disconnect the tie rod. You don't want to put too much pressure on it at that angle and it will let you drop the A arm a little farther. I normally put the top of the spring in first (with the A arm hanging as low as possible and the jack in position underneath) then use a pry...

I have the violator cat-back with stock h-pipe. I had to cut about 4 inches off each side to get them to fit - and of course that changed the angle of the pipes...so yeah, the fit sucks. I wouldn't recommend them. If you're only buyin the muffler, maybe - but I wouldn't buy the kit. I know...

It shares a bolt with something else...I can't remember what at the moment. But it is in the area you described. It doesn't really matter as long as you get a good ground. Just attach it wherever you can.

What else do you have done to the car? On a stock-ish engine, neither will make enough difference to really feel. They might even hurt performance in the bottom of the RPM range.
