    I recently bought a bone stock 5spd 87' Notch (127k miles) I realize the motor is tired but I have heard that with a set of gears, exhaust and slicks the car should be high 12 second capable...if you can drive that is.     Other goodies include a 100 shot NX wet kit in which the numbers were made on a dyno-jet, the shot is set up for second gear-to finish. Everyone says that you cannot see those kinda numbers from an N/A 302....guess they might be right. A Procharger will be bolted on next in place of the nitrous.

    I like "punisher's" setup, I'd like to do something similar but add some aluminum heads/cam/intake and some other goodies but keep the stock shortblock. 3.73's, subframes, springs, axles, and a Tremec will follow.
