Hmm, sounds like the problem I was havin bout a year ago. Was running Arco, cheap gas, car would backfire under acceleration, hesitating when flooring it. My recommendations: run higher octane gas, use fuel injector cleaner, check the timing, and maybe tune up ignition: cap, rotor, plugs, wires...

I believe the GT models had a problem with the fog lamps. Something with the switch goin out.

Did the conversion with my 88 GT. Wasn't 2 difficult with the help of my dad. We just used the harness out of the stang in the wrecking yard, so out went the old harness, in with the new. Change the air intake tubes, and swap computer. That simple. Also, the 88's do have a check engine...

I put 99 stang seats in my 88 GT. Bolted right in, feel great. So the rear seats would work 2??? I looked at them when I grabbed the bucket seats and they were designed differently, formed different on the bottom. Well, still can't figure out how to get the pic the right size to attach, so here...
