05 Stang vs new GTO?

I suppose that depends on how you define "win" . They've been "winning" the muscle car wars for years, if you definite winning as horsepower. Now, if you define it by production & sales... they keep losing badly. And I predict another losing year in 2005.

93-02 = GM
2003 = Ford
2004 = Ford
2005 = GM

2006 will be close. Dodge will have a 6.1L Charger, LS2 GTO, and the return of a SVT Mustang that will be at least 410HP

Asking why they would put the ls2 in the gto is like asking why they put the ls1 in the fbodies at the same time as it was in the corvette.
