The timing at the valves changes a bit, in particular the valve lift and speed that the valves open and close.
Luckily, near or peak lift occurs when your piston is near 2 inches GOING DOWN in the piston cylinder wall
The added lift the 1.7 roller rocker gives should not affect your p-v clearance numbers in where you can't run the cam.
