Hello, I have a 1995 Mustang GT and all the heat shields on my stock catalytic converters have rusted off. I have no heat shields on any of them. Can I wrap them with heatwrap? Or will that not work. I don't feel like spending a lot of money right now or tracking down 8 shields so I was thinking of just using heat wrap and wrapping each one around until I can get my new o/r H pipe which won't be for another year. Whenever I drive the car and feel the floor under neath, its really hot and I don't really want a fire starting in my car.
