92 T-bird rear end gears

Hi there I know its Stang HEaven here, I have 3 but I also have a 92 5.0 T bird with 90k on it to this day, I assume it has an 8.8 IRS system but have no proof, and really cant find any. I aslo have dibs on a wrecked 3.8 bird with 4:10 gears in it, also a 92 model. DO the sport 5.0 bird and V6 3.8 use SAME size rear end or is the 6 banger a smaller unit. Both are auto's, but my 5.0 bird is SICK with the ultra highway gearing and with a donor car on the way I just need to know if I can interchange the junk 3.08's for the 4:10's or if they are different THANKS GUYS
