just curious really...my car will only really be driven on sunny days when its finished...currently the car is 99.9% rust free and I want to keep it that way...as for resale, I'm never selling the car, I got this car to have fun with and modernize is just about every way I can, I dont need cowl vents...I took out the whole heater box assembly,, etc since it will very rarely be driven on the street...the only thing I am wondering is how it would look without cowl intake vents...although I suppose I can always use one of those clear plastic cover things...I am looking for a cleaner solution

another option would be to carefully cut out the vents and then weld a block off plate to the bottom of the vents and then replace the assembly. This way you keep the stock look but never have to worry about leaks or rust.
