Hey, I want to know what the preferred OBD II scanners are and which are the "best for the money". Also OBD I scanners. Only scanners under $200 please :lock:

Also I've been told that there are scanners that can be hooked up to a laptop!?? I'm geussin the code reading would be much easier. Never actually seen one. Does anyone have one or know where to get one? Thanks all in advance.

check local parts stores, theyre always in stock.
theyll also scan your codes for free if you just need to check whats goin on with your car.

i just purchased a diablo predator (runs around $400), which has lots of tuning capabilities, as well as live data logging and a OBDII code reader for fords built in. it can be plugged into your computer to view the logged data/trouble codes.
