I just put alot of money into my chassis, rear suspension, and transmission.I do not have much money to get short block done. I'm looking for a basic rebuild such as some forged 4032 alloy pistons with some nice deep reliefs, but need some file fit rings.I believe Federal Mogul should have some just can't find em.I'm having the crank oil journals chamfered,.030 or .040 bore.
I have a used e303 cam which i'm going to have the bearing lobes polished to save some money and throw some new bearing in block along with main and rod bearings.

anyway my real question is what pistons?I will be spraying a bit on this motor mostly at the track.I will be putting some stock e7 heads back on with the combustion chambers wrapped in o-rings.heads have 1.6 rockers, dual valve springs, comp valve seals, and port job.
Like I said this is mostly a budget built short block except for the piston setup.

any suggestions on pistons and file fit rings.......030 or .040 block hasn't been machined yet so either will do.
