BYPASSING LOW OIL SENSOR

I am putting a 7 quart oil pan on my DSS 306. In my stock oil pan there is a "LOW OIL SENSOR" in the drivers side of the rear sump.

DSS told me that most people bypass it by "GROUNDING IT OUT", Doing this will not let the computer trip the low oil light.

Has anyone done this and what exactly do I need to do and to what wire(s)? Any help would be helpful.

Its either closed or open to ground. You can test this by taking a continuity setting on a voltage meter and going from the pan to the end of the sensor. If the meter pegs out or beeps depending on your meter when empty you have to connect the wire that goes to the sensor to ground. If you have no peg out or beeps from the pan to the sensor when full then you only have to unplug it.
