can a bad Hego sensor make a lose in performance?

can a faulty Hego make a lose in performance? im asking because i have a 91 code in my KOEO and KOER and i check both Hego and one have a 4.3 ohms at room temp what it means that the Hego have a failure, im going to replace it any way but i just courius if that Hego is make me losing performance in my 5.0? :shrug:

HEGO is Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen, in other words your oxygen sensors and yes, a faulty one will most definitely affect performance, you will be running very rich with an inoperative oxygen sensor.

since you are installing the oxygen sensors might as well check/replace the spark plugs you may have fouled a few
