ive heard that you can take out the rear quad shocks,is there somthign u need in order to do it ..does it really help the rear end drop for weight transfer..i also heard you can only do it with aftermarket comtrol arms adj or non adj dosent matter....

Don't do it UNLESS you want lots of wheel hop or have all the upper & lower aftermarket control arms already installed. There is no advantage in removing them unless your tires rub them.

jrichker is right on. with aftermarket arms, you should be ok, but i would not do it otherwise.....

I wouldnt recommend it unless you have to for clearance. I have BBK lowers and FRPP uppers, replaced bushings with polys and what not. I removed my quads and that thing hopped like a bunny (Easter). So I put some KYB replacements back on.

can u really just turn them upside down with no modification needed and they will still work the same...other than alot of wheel hop will it hurt anything else..like if i did it just for a few days till the new arms go on
