I'm in the middle of a new turbo setup and i'm torn on what to do about some gauges.
I had a 3 gauge pod on the a pillar with Boost, Fuel Pressure, and EGT. I sold the EGT and the a pillar pods along with the old turbo. I didn't particularly like the gauges on the a pillar. They are easy to see, but stand out too much.
Now i don't know whether i should run any gauges at all or place the ones i have and a wideband in the lower cd slot. They wouldn't serve much purpose down there during a run though. There's no way i'm going to be glancing down there at any kind of speed.
I don't necessarily need a boost gauge as i've got an electronic boost controller in the center console, so no real worries about over-boosting. Also, tune should be safe enough that i wouldn't (in a perfect world anyway) have to worry about going lean. What to do?
Any thoughts? or suggestions?
