Ceramic vs Chrome Headers

What is the difference between ceramic and chrome headers? Im am looking into buying a set of long tubes but I dont know which is better. I hear ceramic cracks easier. I also heard that stainless steel is the best way to go, but i cant really seem to find many stainless steel headers. Thanks.

ceramic keeps under hood temps down, they won't rust, they won't be as shiny as chrome, but ceramic doesn't peel off a few years down the road.

More or less they are the better investment.

All true! And given what a pain it is to replace headers on a 4.6 car I would definitely get the ceramic coating for longevity. Even with a lift these header installs are an ordeal.
