This is the fourth time my cable has gone bad in the last 7 months.

I know that the cable runs close to the header, so it has to be the heat.

Anyone know how to modify the bracket, does someone make a better cable setup. Ive tried FMS and zoom currently. Is there something you can wrap it in to shield out the heat.

:OT: Paul, did you get it all dialed-in finally? I hadn't run across an issue like yours before...............

it's been fine since i had the issue and used the *method, but i'm probably swap out to a better quadrant (i think that is where the issue is) when i do the engine swap in a couple weeks. there is some slack in the pedal (and at the fwa) but once in a while i can hear the tob whine.

the cable is just fine, though. it's free-mounted (doesn't come with a bracket) and i haven't had any issues whatsoever with it. thanks for asking, though, JT :flag:
