clutch/ neutral interlock switch

I just got done doing an aod to t5 swap and the car will not start unless I jumper the black plug that goes into the switch on the pedals. If I plug it in nothing happens so Im guessing that that switch is bad. my main question is how does that switch come off. I cant see anything but I think I can feel one small nut, is that all that holds it on ?

There is a spring safety clip above the nut. You can get a new one from Rock Auto for $44.79 part number 1S5353. Double check with them mine was for a 93. Good luck its a PITA
