I would look for a grade A crabon fiber hood but even then be careful ebay sellers love using that term and sell them cheap. A real good grade A Cf hood will be north of 5 bills. The low priced hood don't hold up and have low grade UV protection, chip easy and have delamination issues, many of my contour buddies are going through this now. carbon creations does decent work I googled CF hood for 93 mustangs and came up with a link for a carbon creations oem hood..
I like your thinking, Stock hood or the heat extractor are the best choices.
Stock hood in CF being the number 1 choice. I would love to have one, there are a couple of cars with the heat extractor hood that post on here. Maybe search that and see what comes up.
