my brother bought the 347 450hp crate engine last year from our local ford dealer for $6100. The price for the same engine now is $8600 that is just sick.Its an awsome engine and his car went 11.66 @ 119 with it about a month ago but i cant see someone paying that amount for it now.

Thats retarded.. That motor sounds good for sure, but not worth 8600!!!!


I dont know if this is true or what the deal is, if someone could chime in, do the Ford Crates come with warranties? I heard they don't.. and that is absolutely retarded for what you pay for them!!!!

They are trying to save their asses before they go under. Obviously they are going to kill business, so its a stupid plan in my opinion, they are just trying every alley and backdoor to squeek out a little more cash here and there.

I'd like to read the fine print on that warranty. I bet it has to be installed by a certified mechanic or a Ford tech...
