ok heres da deal now obviously cobras have big brakes on front now i wanna know what u guys have done to get front runners on ur cars cause only 17s fit on front lemme know thanx gentlemen.
i just use 2 1/4" spacers on each wheel to space them out enough. I have the weld prostars for when i go to the strip. I just snug the wheel up to the rotor then take my fingers and center up the spacers then torque them down.
Although my cobra is a '93, I have the newer 13" brakes on it. I use a 1" bolt on spacer, then bolt my welds to it and it works great. I have/use 15x3 Weld Ultralites in the front when I go to the track.
You can get an hubcentric 25mm or 30mm H&R or Eibach spacer and some 15x3.5" skinnies will fit the big brakes...you may have to grind down the stock lugs a bit or they'll stick through the spacer and get in the way of the wheel, but that's no biggie...
