Fuel Rail Question

I want to install a fuel pressure gauge in my car, but I have an '04 without the valve on the fuel rail to tap the system. Rather than buying the adapter fitting, I was wondering if I could just find a junked '02 or '03 GT and grab the stock fuel rail off of that? Unless there is an easier way to tap fuel pressure without buying the adapter fitting? Thanks.

Yes, you can. That's what I was going to do, but I ended up picking up the Kenne Bell schrader valve adapter for cheap.
