Has anyone tried switching driver/pass. seat?

I was wondering if anyone has tried or thought about switching front seats. I have a "89" with the sport seats, and it is hard to find a decent driver seat, I know you have the switches on the pass seat for lumber but it would be hidden when switched+seat track etc...but anyway what do you guys think?

I tried it but the seat switches for the lumbar hit the console so i was unable to bolt it to the floor. Thats my case at least
