Help!! flywheel bolts

I was installing my new clutch and flywheel and i stripped one bolt into the crank.
Well like a idiot wasnt paying attention thought the new bolts they give u with the flywheel where the ones for the crank. Started to tighten one down and it started to strip and once i saw that i pulled it back out and the stock one wont tighten into it now. The stock bolt screwed up when i tryed to put it back in. I got a tap and ran the tap through the crank bolt hole and the tap went in ok and held. It looks like it will be ok. The tap goes in further than the bolt goes. I called summit and got the arp studs for the flywheel i hope those will work. They say there longer. Do you guys think that will solve my problem?

yes, if retapping worked, then you shouldn't have a problem.

You'll be good. Just make sure you use the correct torque specs.

Are 4.6 flywheel bolts holes straight through? On my 289 if youd have done that you would have tapped all that **** right into the oil pan.

the oil pan dosent go near the crank on a 4.6. its a deep skirt block.

Put all the bolts in with your fingers and thread at least 5 or 6 threads in before you use any tools on them. This ensures that you won't mess up another one.

I think you will be fine. I would put 2 drops of locktite on it and torue to 75-85 ft lbs.
