Please tell me someone on here has the Saleen registry or otherwise some magical way to tell if a Saleen is real or not.

Call Saleen with the VIN.

Well,

It's not magic but many of us have the latest Saleen book with registry in it. Just post the last 3 numbers of the vin and maybe we can help you.

If you have the year and bumper number and the last 3 digits of the VIN like Marcus said, then it would be very easy to look up that info in the Saleen book. I've got one of the books.

Yeah I called saleen and found out it was real, but if someone could tell me any info about it in the registry I would appreciate it. The last 3 in the vin are 848. and the bumper number is 868

what year is it? That would make it allot easier to find in the book.

That car shipped from Saleen 9/11/01. Yikes.

Car is listed as being supercharged, having Saleen leather, door panels color painted to body color, floor mats, speedster package ( that should include the tonneau cover ) chrome wheels, bag for speedster cover and a black vert top. No previous owners listed.

wow, september 11th, thats crazy. I know it doesn't really mean anything, but that cars has more meaning to me now. Thats for your help
