The 1/4 Mile IHRA Drag Strip

Overview

The new U.S.41 Dragway holds a comprehensive schedule of drag racing events ranging from Street Legal to Jet Cars. The drag strip is fully equipped to conduct feature events of the most extreme quality.

Fact & Figures

The drag strip is 4000 ft. long from the starting line.
60 ft. wide.
662 ft. above sea level.
500 ft. concrete launch pad area (thickness: 12 inches).
Newly updated TSI computerized timing system featuring infrared sensors.
New Race Control Booth.
New ET Booth.
Three Story Tower with (1) VIP Corporate Sky Suite (Suite holds apx. 60 people).
Large drag pit area will hold apx. 550 competitors, the pit area is grass and asphalt road crush.
The grandstands will hold 10,000 spectators.
Showers and washrooms in the drag pit area.
Overnight security for weekend events (drivers can camp or leave cars at facility).
One main Competitor gate entrance plus one overflow competitor gate.
Concrete barriers line the entire length of the ¼ mile racing surface.
Steel Armco barriers line the ¼ mile shut down area.

Time to update the sig! Nice times. I ran 13.19@ 104.71 with 264rwhp, 3.73 gears. Your times are right on with my car, except for the sixty foot. I was a tenth behind you there.
