Line Lock as a Security device

If I used a toggle switch on front-brake line lock setup, what problems do you foresee with my pressing the brake pedal, putting the toggle into the "ON" position, and walking away from my car ?

Will this damage the solenoid ?

Will it result in a drain on the battery ?

Just wondering if aside from the typical usage of this device, if it could also be used as a Security device.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What type of solenoids are they? I have a lot of experience with Solenoids from Air Suspension and it shouldnt really put that much of a pull on the battery at all. Its not really the best Anti-Theft solution, but I suppose it would work. I wouldnt bother personally.

Edit: I must have put thousands of cycles on my solenoids on my truck, no problems whatsoever, and this was with 200PSI behind the valves being held shut. Might be a different type of valve setup though.

I should have been more clear.

The car will be garaged, but when I step out to a restaurant or something like that, I thought it would be "nice", not necessary, to lock those front wheels down.
