missing a wire connector...

i don't get how i've missed this over and over but i just noticed it missing last night. the wire connector that goes to the coolant drain bottle cap. is it bad that this is missing? i check coolant levels regularly but what does this really do?

Not much - mine hasn't worked for many years - if it ever did...

It just triggers a "low colant" light in the dash.

I've had mine unplugged for a long time, it doesn't work so that damn light was always on. Annoying as hell.

haha. thanks guys. i just didn't want it messing something up that i didn't know about. glad to know it's not that important, as long as i keep the levels up i should be okay then.
